12-Year Old Kid Entrepreneur To Perform Single Black Wall Street at Event Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Tulsa Race Riots

What: Keno Lucas II Co-Founder of The KENO (Kid Entrepreneurs Need Opportunities) Micro-Fund will perform the song Black Wall Street at the Atlanta screening of the film Before They Die! Twelve-year old Lucas will dedicate his performance to108-year old Bishop Charles Otis, the oldest living survivor of the Tulsa Race Riots.  Otis will be honored at the event. 

Prior to the 1921 race riots in Tulsa, OK, the African American community thrived economically.  The great entrepreneurial successes of blacks in the region gave it the name, Black Wall Street. Lucas hopes to motivate his generation to chart a prosperous future by understanding the achievements of the past.

The screening will also include a panel discussion led by renowned Harvard Professor Charles J. Ogletree.

The KENO Fund will be selling copies of the CD with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the survivors of the Tulsa race riots of 1921.
